Use of beehiiv

Our newsletter is sent via beehiiv Inc., USA. For this purpose, your email address is transferred to beehiiv. This website is also hosted by beehiiv. We have concluded a data processing agreement with beehiiv; the transfer to the USA is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). Engagement measurement (open and click rates)

The newsletters contain standard measurement techniques provided by beehiiv that record whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. This analysis is carried out on the basis of the consent you give when subscribing and serves to improve the newsletter’s content. If you do not wish this analysis to take place, you can unsubscribe at any time.

Cookies and Cloudflare

This website is delivered via the content delivery network of Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare sets a technically necessary cookie (__cf_bm, stored for approx. 30 minutes) to protect against automated access. Legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Beyond this, we do not set any cookies of our own for analytics or advertising purposes.

Google Fonts

This website loads fonts from Google (Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC, USA) at page load; this is embedded by the hosting platform (beehiiv) and transfers your IP address to Google. We cannot deactivate this embedding.

Storage period

Your data will be stored as long as your subscription is active. After unsubscribing, your email address is removed from the active mailing list; it may remain on a suppression list at beehiiv to ensure you are not contacted again.
