If the absolute, undeniable truth of our unity with God were suddenly revealed to you—if the heavens opened up and gave you absolute proof—your Free Will would be destroyed. There would be no free choice to seek the truth if the truth were forcing itself upon you. Therefore, the illusion of this world must be confusing. The "veil of forgetting" we experience is a carefully designed feature, not a bug. It ensures that when you finally choose to love and to seek unity, your choice is authentic and completely self-generated.
