Fifty-six days into a 365-day path, a word about pace — because somewhere along any journey like this one, the seeker starts checking her watch. Shouldn’t I be further by now? Others seem transformed already; my patterns are still here; perhaps I am doing my catalyst slowly and badly.

Hear this month’s quietest teaching: slowness is allowed. Catalyst works in its own season, and the seasons are not yours to command. The material describes growth in exactly such organic figures — seeding, ripening, harvest — and no farmer stands in the field in October commanding the wheat to hurry. Some lessons integrate in an afternoon; others require a decade of returns, not because the student is dull but because the lesson is load-bearing and the self must be rebuilt around it slowly, the way bone knits: invisibly, and at its own unhurried, unnegotiable rate.

And the impatience itself? By now you know the pattern: it is catalyst too. Look inside spiritual hurry and you will usually find an old acquaintance — the judge from day fifty-four, now holding a stopwatch; the self-rejection that believes who-I-am-now is a station to escape rather than the only place growth has ever happened. Comparison with other seekers compounds it, and is doubly absurd: you cannot see their curriculum, their starting point, or their timescale — souls, the sources would remind us, measure in lifetimes.

You are not behind. There is no behind. There is only the wheat, ripening at the speed of wheat.

☕ Today’s Micro-Practice: Find where you carry a spiritual stopwatch — a “by now I should…”. Set it down for one day. Work today’s lesson only, at the speed today allows.
