Somewhere in the last fifty-three days, quietly, an accusation may have been forming — and today it must be met, because its target is you. If experience is curriculum and pain is potential, then the self that still struggles, still hurts, still handles it badly, can begin to look like a failing student. And the seeker’s oldest trap clicks shut: turning the teaching itself into a stick for one’s own back.

Look at the trap’s logic: “catalyst is a gift — so what’s wrong with me that I keep resenting mine? Acceptance is the door — so my not-accepting must be failure. I’ve read all this — why am I still so human?” Every path knows this creature: the inner judge who has learned the vocabulary of the journey and uses it to conduct the prosecution.

Here is what this teaching would say to that judge. The struggling self is not the obstacle to the curriculum. It is the student body — the only one enrolled. Impatience with it is impatience with the process of growth as such; refusing it compassion means refusing the very lesson this density teaches. Indeed the material goes further: the harshness itself is catalyst, one more piece of the self arriving to be met, felt, and accepted like all the rest. Even your failure to accept is asking for acceptance.

So today, deliberately, extend the month’s whole teaching to its final object. You are allowed to find this hard. It is hard — that is the design. A struggling student in a difficult school is not a scandal. She is the whole point of the school.

☕ Today’s Micro-Practice: Catch your inner judge once today, mid-sentence — then answer it out loud, kindly: “I’m allowed to find this hard.” Say it the way you’d say it to a dear friend, because that’s who it’s for.
