As the month draws toward its close, the material brings us, fittingly, to the present moment. For all its talk of vast cycles, harvests, and journeys spanning densities and aeons, the teaching keeps insisting that the entire path is walked in one place only: now. The present moment is the single point at which choice is possible, the only doorway through which love ever actually enters the world.
The reason is woven into the cosmology. The past is finished, beyond changing; the future has not arrived and cannot be acted upon. Both are real, but neither is available. The now is the lone moment where your free will actually meets the world and shapes it — where the great choice between love and separation stops being a concept and becomes a deed. The sources sometimes speak of the present as the point where the eternal touches time, the place where you, a timeless being, get to act inside a temporal world. To dwell endlessly in regret or anticipation is, in a real sense, to be absent from the only place you can ever do anything at all.
This is why presence and the path are inseparable. You cannot love yesterday or tomorrow. You can only love now. And now is always, generously, available.
