The material offers a beautifully simple image for the two paths, one you can actually feel in your own body and behavior: radiance and magnetism. The positive path radiates; the negative path magnetizes. Learning to notice which motion you’re making, moment to moment, is one of the most practical tools this teaching offers.

Radiance is the way of the sun. It gives without grasping, shines without demanding a return, warms whatever comes near simply by being warm. The service-to-others being learns, over time, to radiate — to become a source of love and light that others can draw from freely, with no strings attached and no account kept. Magnetism is the opposite gesture: a pulling inward, an arranging of people and circumstances around the self, a drawing of energy toward one’s own center. It is the way of the one who needs to be the gravitational heart of every room. Most of us, honestly, do both all day long — radiating warmth one moment, pulling for attention the next.

The practice is not to shame the magnetic pull but to notice it, and to keep gently choosing radiance. To give light rather than gather it. The more you radiate without needing anything back, the more naturally you walk the path home.

☕ Today’s Micro-Practice: Once today, catch yourself pulling — for attention, credit, or control — and consciously switch to radiating instead: give the warmth you were about to ask for.
