It is tempting to map the two paths straight onto “good” and “evil,” with service to others as the saints and service to self as the villains. The material quietly resists this, and the distinction is worth getting right, because it changes how you walk the path.
Polarity is about orientation, not about a cosmic scorecard of good and bad deeds. The positive being and the negative being are not “the moral one” and “the immoral one”; they are two beings facing in opposite directions, each gathering a different kind of spiritual charge. This matters because moralizing — toward others or toward yourself — tends to close the heart, and the open heart is the very thing the positive path is built on. You do not polarize toward love by judging others as wicked. You polarize toward love by loving. Guilt and condemnation, even aimed at genuine wrongdoing, can subtly tip you toward separation rather than away from it.
So the invitation is not to become the morality police of your own life or anyone else’s. It is to keep gently turning your face toward love — toward acceptance, service, and the Creator in all things — and to let that turning, rather than self-criticism, do the work. You are not trying to be good. You are learning which way to face.
