Date: July 8, 1982

Your pre-incarnative “lesson plan” can be partly randomized. The newer the entity to 3D, the more randomized the potential catalyst stream—so early incarnations are often “wide sampling.”

Polarity is not an optional add-on here. In this Logos’s design, polarity is structural—something the Matrix of Mind must accept as given, not something it gets to opt out of.

The subconscious is close, but it doesn’t barge in. The Potentiator is “near at hand” throughout manifestation—yet it does not enter manifestation of itself. The conscious mind reaches.

Male/female principles are functional, not merely biological. “Reaching” is treated as a male principle; “awaiting” as a female principle—mirrored in sexual energy transfer metaphors and in inner work.

The “release from stricture” method is gold. Ra repeatedly asks Don to stop clinging to the object (book, astrological overlays, icon details) and instead read the principle the object is trying to carry.

Potentiation is protected. The mantle/grapes thread suggests that “bearing fruit” (inner gestation) naturally carries a kind of shelter—while also hinting at a subtle bias toward the positive path.

🧩 Full Q&A with Commentary

92.1 — Condition of the instrument
Summary. The instrument is slightly more distorted toward weakness in each respect since the last session.

Commentary. Session 92 starts with the familiar baseline: these teachings arrive through a fragile human vehicle. That context matters because the session will again circle the theme of vital energy and “how much the instrument is paying.”

92.2 — What’s causing the decline?
Summary. Continued pain is the effective cause; additional distortions are accentuated by psychic greeting. Vital energy is being drawn upon because the instrument uses will to “clear the way” for a carefully purified service-to-others working.

Commentary. This is one of the clearest “cost accounting” lines in the late sessions: when physical/mental/emotional resources are low, will draws on vital energy—and that’s not meant to be the default operating mode.

92.3 — What can the group do? (swirling water + the deeper key)
Summary. Continue peace and harmony; the support group already does much. The instrument must choose the manner of its beingness; it has a distortion toward martyrdom that only it can evaluate and alter.

Commentary. Ra points at the real lever: not a new technique, but a choice about identity (“I must suffer to serve”). If martyrdom is running, the working becomes expensive.

92.4–92.6 — 5D negative visitor + bodily concerns
Summary. The 5D negative entity is with the group again. Return was prompted by (1) recovery of negative polarity and (2) a temporary lessening of positive harmony. Regarding constipation/stomach issues: healing modes available are already in use.

Commentary. Ra’s pattern remains consistent: metaphysics + mundane care. The “visitor” responds to openings; the group responds by strengthening harmony and practical support.

92.7–92.8 — Tarot distortions: what remains, and what’s “best available”
Summary. After removing astrological material, remaining distortions relate to the mythos of the Egyptian culture in which Ra offered the tool. Ra suggests looking for the heart of the image rather than being overly involved in costume/creatures. Ra does not wish to add further distortions. The so-called Egyptian tarot is considered the most undistorted version available—while acknowledging other systems can be useful in their own way.

Commentary. The study rule is repeated: don’t worship the wrapper. Archetypal work fails fastest when the student confuses cultural ornamentation for the universal function.

92.9 — Newborn infant analogy: the fresh Matrix
Summary. Don’s analogy is affirmed: the newborn’s Matrix is “new and undistorted,” veiled from the Potentiator, and ready for incarnation.

Commentary. Useful here: “undistorted” doesn’t mean “wise.” It means: not yet patterned by this incarnation’s catalyst stream.

92.10 — Before awareness, the Logos creates polarization potentials
Summary. Yes: until conscious awareness dawns, the Logos/intelligent energy creates potentials for the experience necessary to polarize.

Commentary. You can read this as: life sets the curriculum before you start consciously co-authoring it.

92.11–92.12 — Pre-incarnative programming, randomness, and what the Potentiator is (and isn’t)
Summary. Ra untangles Don’s framing: the entity preparing for incarnation programs a partially randomized system of learnings; the more “new” to 3D, the more randomized the potential catalyst. This potential is carried in deep mind, which can be envisioned via the Potentiator archetype. However, the source of incarnational potential is not “the archetypical mind,” but the entity’s insertion into the energy web of the physical vehicle and planetary environment. The Potentiator is not the “source” of programmed catalyst; it is an archetype that helps the adept grasp the nature of pre-incarnative and ongoing choices.

Commentary. Clean takeaway: archetypes are interpretive architecture, not the causal engine. They help you see what’s happening—without pretending they generate the lived sequence by themselves.

92.13 — The Matrix “reaches” (and why catalyst becomes a unique tapestry)
Summary. Don’s statement is called thoughtful but confused. Ra reframes: the Matrix reaches—analogous to free will reaching toward the Logos. The biases/potentials of an entity make catalyst unique, cohering into a patterned “dance” or tapestry of motion.

Commentary. This is a vivid corrective: the conscious self is not a passive recipient. It’s a reaching principle—and what it reaches for shapes what it finds.

92.14–92.16 — Catalyst → Experience, Significator, and the key distinction again
Summary. Catalyst yields experience, but often only partially used; experience is correspondingly skewed. The Significator is both actor and acted upon. As awareness develops, the entity can increasingly program this activity before incarnation. Ra reiterates: archetypes are a resource unevenly used; the archetypes do not live the incarnation—the incarnating entity can live without consciously articulating these processes.

Commentary. This is the “don’t make it a master theory” warning, again—and it’s healthy. Archetypes are lenses, not a replacement for balancing, relationship, and choice.

92.17 — Transformation/Great Way as “after enlightenment”? (No.)
Summary. Don offers an eloquent sequence (balanced centers → transformation → contact with intelligent infinity → veil removed → Great Way). Ra says no—because archetypal mind ≠ incarnational progression. For study, Ra suggests seeing the Great Way as the portion of the archetypical mind that configures the framework within which Mind/Body/Spirit archetypes move—not as something “attained after” contact with intelligent infinity.

Commentary. This is subtle and important: Great Way is more like the terrain rules than a trophy you win later.

92.18–92.19 — Infant touches a hot object: is the Potentiator involved?
Summary. Yes: Potentiators of Mind and Body are involved in the infant’s questing for new experience. The infant’s highly developed portion is best studied via the Significators of Mind and Body (spirit is not reliably developed in all). The infant’s “significant self” (harvest of biases from previous incarnations) offers biases for meeting experience, while the Matrix is “unfed” and reaches for experience through free will. Not all actions are due to mind’s potentiation alone; body (and sometimes spirit) also potentiates action. As awareness of spiritual evolution grows, more activity is precipitated by the Transformation archetypes.

Commentary. Two layers coexist:

  1. Inherited bias-harvest (Significator) already shaping response.

  2. Fresh reaching (Matrix) experimenting in novelty.
    That’s a very workable model for adult life too: part of you is “old pattern,” part of you is “fresh reach.”

92.20 — Why Matrix male and Potentiator female?
Summary. Matrix is attracted to biological male and Potentiator to biological female; in energy transfer, the female can potentiate what lies within the male’s conscious mind so it feels enspirited. More generally: reaching = male principle; awaiting = female principle.

Commentary. Read as function, not stereotype: “male/female” here is a symbolic polarity describing dynamics of initiative and receptivity—inside any psyche.

92.21 — The veil on Card #2
Summary. Yes: it represents the veil between conscious and subconscious (Matrix and Potentiator).

Commentary. This is the core: the Potentiator’s richness is present, but the veil shapes how (and when) conscious mind can access it.

92.22–92.24 — The pillars: polarity as structural, Creator offered fully to both
Summary. Don’s “equal opportunity” read is correct but less perceptive than noticing that the Priestess sits within a structure where polarity is integral and necessary. The unfed mind has no polarity; polarity is designed into 3D experience. Ra adds: the polarity of the Potentiator is not there for the Matrix to choose; it is there for the Matrix to accept as given. The pillar drawings can be read as identical experiences approached with differing polarity bias. And importantly: the One Infinite Creator is no respecter of polarity—offering itself in full to all.

Commentary. This is a bracing statement: you don’t choose whether polarity exists here; you choose how you relate to it. Polarity is like gravity in this environment: not your preference, but your classroom condition.

92.25–92.26 — The “book,” sanctified sexuality, and what to do with added props
Summary. The “book” conceit was not originated by Ra; Ra asks that it be released from its strictured form—while affirming Don’s perception about hidden knowledge. Ra then makes the deeper point: the feminine principle of mind (linked here to “sanctified sexuality”) is itself the “book,” unused until the male principle reaches and penetrates the inner secrets in a symbolically sexual fashion. Robes signify outer garments of custom shielding these principles; thus there is dynamic tension between Matrix and Potentiator. Astrological symbols are not given by Ra.

Commentary. This is one of the session’s most intense “method + meaning” moments:

  • Method: release the literal object.

  • Meaning: the subconscious is not a library you browse; it’s an inner mystery entered by disciplined reaching—often through devotion, intimacy, sincerity, and patience.

92.27–92.30 — Box, moon, ankh: immanence, receptivity, and continuity beyond incarnation
Summary. The Potentiator is not “dominant over matter” so much as immanent within all manifestation; opportunities to reach it are numerous, but it does not enter manifestation of itself. The half-moon is not from Ra but is acceptable as a feminine symbol in our culture. The crux ansata (ankh) is correct; added distortions are astrological and may be released. The ankh indicates spirit/life enlivening matter—and also points to continuity of the consciousness being potentiated beyond incarnation.

Commentary. Notice the arc:
Potentiator is near at hand → symbols can help but shouldn’t harden → the archetype includes an implicit gesture toward life continuing beyond the current incarnation’s veil.

92.31–92.33 — Grapes, mantle, and the “inborn bias” toward the efficient polarity
Summary. Grapes were part of Ra’s communication; they indicate fertility of the subconscious. Ra adds: note the mantle’s function—there is great protection given by the character of potentiation; to bear fruit is protected activity. Don notes protection seems stronger on the right-hand side; Ra affirms an inborn bias offering information about the more efficient polarity.

Commentary. This is Session 90’s “bias toward kindness” in visual form: the system doesn’t coerce—but it does quietly signal what is more efficient.

92.34 — Does the Potentiator “offer” positive/negative acts to the Matrix, building polarity?
Summary. Ra again distinguishes archetypical mind from incarnational process. Each potentiation reached for by the Matrix is recorded by the Matrix but experienced by the Significator. The experience depends on the acuity of Catalyst and Experience processes.

Commentary. A crisp operational model:
Matrix reaches → potentiation is contacted → Matrix records → Significator experiences → Catalyst/Experience processing determines how “cleanly” the lesson is harvested.

92.35 — Comfort and the warning about vital energies (the “riddle”)
Summary. Support group functions well. Ra suggests the instrument ponder earlier words: continued calling upon vital energies, if allowed to proceed to the end, will end the contact. There is not the need for continued calling upon these energies; the instrument must find the key to this riddle or face a growing loss of this service. Alignments are exemplary; closing blessing.

Commentary. The “riddle” points back to the martyrdom thread. A practical reading: serving well does not require self-erasure. Purity of intention is compatible with sustainability.

🛠️ Practice Corner — Living Session 92

Release-from-stricture (3 minutes). Pick one symbol you cling to (label, identity, diagnosis, story). Whisper: “I release this from its strictured form.” Then ask: what principle is this trying to protect or reveal?

Polarity-as-classroom (2 minutes). Today, when a choice arises, don’t ask “should polarity exist?” Ask: “How do I meet this—toward union or separation?”

Sanctified reaching (5 minutes). Sit quietly and let the conscious mind reach once: not for answers, but for contact. Then stop reaching and practice awaiting for one minute—notice the tension between the two.

Martyrdom key (2 minutes). Ask: “Where am I paying extra to feel virtuous?” Name one small adjustment that serves the same love with less self-harm.
