🧭 Session Snapshot
Date: April 14, 1982
Focus: health maintenance, martyrdom vs wisdom, “transient” predictions, contact symbolism, and a deep dive into sexual energy transfer (pre-veil vs post-veil) including blockages, orgasm, and green/blue/indigo/violet refinement.
🌟 Key Takeaways
Martyrdom ≠ wisdom. Ra frames martyrdom as a path of compassion and understanding carried to completion; wisdom is not inherent in self-sacrifice.
Choose “unknowing” over trivia. Ra gently discourages fixation on near-term predictions and encourages seeking the “keys to unknowing.”
Contact uses your symbol-language. Experiences like “craft memories” can be symbolic scaffolding that allows deep mind material to surface without destabilizing the personality.
Sexual energy transfer is a whole-circuit phenomenon. It begins at red ray and moves upward as far as it can; it does not “jump heart-to-heart.”
Crystallization changes the ‘voltage.’ Uncrystallized centers can function, but they don’t carry the same “high-voltage” capacity.
Unconditional love is the key. For blue/indigo (and beyond), Ra emphasizes a metaphysical bond of unconditional love, refined through honest communication.
Logos offers bias, not coercion. Post-veil, many Logoi preserved a bias toward mated relationships because indiscriminate mating was observed to polarize less.
🧩 Full Q&A with Commentary
84.1 — Instrument condition
Summary. Physical energy is in sizable deficit; vital energies are well.
Commentary. This “split” recurs often: the body may be depleted while the deeper will/spirit (vital energy) is steady. It’s a reminder that spiritual work still requires practical care.
84.2 — “Least distorted complex protein” and allergy
Summary. Ra clarifies: they mean animal protein that is slaughtered and preserved; better to find fresh, high-quality items to avoid increasing the instrument’s allergic distortions. The caution was regarding a possible drift toward disease.
Commentary. Notice the tone: not diet-dogma, but distortion management. For this group, food is treated as signal management—less irritation, more stability.
84.3 — Which disease? What cause?
Summary. Ra names juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and lupus erythematosus, rooted at base in pre-incarnative factors. Ra declines to specify another potential distortion to preserve free will, noting affirmations may help resolve.
Commentary. Two principles sit side-by-side:
Some distortions are described as chosen/allowed pre-incarnatively.
Yet the group’s present choices (affirmations, care) matter.
84.4 — Martyrdom: when does it partake of wisdom?
Summary. Ra uses Jehoshua (Jesus) as exemplar: he incarnated with a plan of martyrdom. There is no wisdom in that plan—rather, understanding/compassion in full perfection. He repeatedly discerned timing (“not yet the hour”), and even at the hour could have chosen another path; that would prolong life but confuse the intended path. Not everyone who dies is a martyr; martyr is reserved for those who lay down life in service. Ra encourages meditation on will.
Commentary. This is a balancing statement:
Compassion to completion can be sublime.
But Ra refuses to romanticize suffering as “wise.”
Practical distinction (useful lens):
Martyrdom (as Ra uses it): “I accept a costly path of service.”
Wisdom (as Ra implies): “I see clearly what serves, what doesn’t, and I choose with balance.”
84.5 — Feet distortions and comfort
Summary. The named disease complex distorts the feet. Ra suggests careful resumption of exercise (with determination), alternating shoes, softer/finer anklets better conforming to the feet, warm water immersion, and for a specific metatarsal injury: brief icing followed by warm water.
Commentary. L/L’s material often includes very “mundane” care advice. The lesson is quietly profound: spiritual seeking does not exempt you from craftsmanship in caring for the vehicle.
84.6 — Publishing restricted healing information?
Summary. Ra says such publication will, in time, be appropriate—there is intervening material.
Commentary. Ra repeatedly treats certain healing material as context-sensitive: timing, readiness, and possible distortions (including misuse) matter.
84.7 — External question about near-term physical changes
Summary. Ra confirms good intention behind the questioner’s “puzzles,” and offers a choice: collect the details of the day—or seek the keys to unknowing.
Commentary. This is one of Ra’s most elegant “redirects.” They don’t argue; they offer a fork:
Detail-hunger (endless, usually anxious)
Mystical humility (“I don’t need to know to love well.”)
84.8 — “Taken aboard craft” reports
Summary. For deep mind material to be accepted, a symbolic framework is often needed. The entity’s expectations shape the story; in dream/trance, the seeming memory is fed into subconscious and lower conscious so it may surface as memory without loss of balance/sanity.
Commentary. This answer is both compassionate and psychologically sophisticated.
Plain metaphor:
The deep mind delivers “fruit.”
The conscious mind needs a “basket” it can hold.
Culture and expectation often provide the basket.
84.9 — Sexual activity before the veil: what was transferred?
Summary. Before veiling, sexual energy transfer occurred between entities capable of green ray; awareness of all as Creator opens green ray; no blockage due to sure knowledge. Transfers were weak because they were easy between many polarized entities.
Commentary. The paradox: easy access can reduce intensity. The veil makes things harder—but that difficulty can produce stronger polarization.
84.10 — “Circuit tracing” of energy transfer
Summary. In a schematic, the circuit opens at red ray and moves upward through centers as possible. If baffled, it stops at orange; if not, proceeds to yellow, then green.
Commentary. Ra is giving a diagnostic map: when “something feels stuck,” ask where the flow is baffled—personal self issues (orange), social power/roles (yellow), or openness of heart (green).
84.11 — Functioning without crystallization (high resistance)
Summary. Ra says the analogy is closer to “voltage”: uncrystallized lower centers cannot deliver higher voltage; crystallized centers can become remarkable as energy reaches green and higher, until transfers become an “honestation” for the Creator.
Commentary. Translation: you can have “some flow” without depth. Crystallization is where the flow becomes transformative.
84.12–84.13 — Does energy ‘leap’ green-to-green?
Summary. Ra says no: the transfer is one releasing of potential difference and is sharing energies of each from red ray upward. Most efficient when both have orgasm simultaneously; still functions if one has orgasm. Even without orgasm, a mated pair can transfer considerable energy if both are aware of the potential and release it to each other by will and mental dedication.
Commentary. The startling point: Ra places huge emphasis on consciousness and dedication, not only physiology.
84.14 — Example: tantric yoga
Summary. Ra notes each system is distorted and teachings half-lost; tantric yoga is one example using such practices.
Commentary. Ra’s caution matters: “example” is not endorsement. The core is the principle: intention, awareness, disciplined dedication.
84.15–84.16 — Who receives the energy? Orgasm directionality
Summary. If both entities are well polarized in green-ray love, any orgasm offers equal energy to both.
Commentary. This frames green-ray sexuality as mutual nourishment, not extraction.
84.17 — Biggest pre-veil vs post-veil sexual difference
Summary. Before the mind/body/spirit were veiled, entities knew that almost all that proceeds from social or sexual intercourse has its character/substance in time/space rather than space/time; sexual energies are not properly of space/time. The body is misunderstood by the post-veiling assumption it is subject only to physical stimuli.
Commentary. If you take one concept from this session, it could be this: your body is a metaphysical instrument, not a purely physical machine.
84.18 — Orange-ray blockage effects
Summary. If both are blocked: increased hunger for the same activity as they seek to unblock flow. If one is blocked and the other vibrates in love: the blocked entity still hungers and tends to continue seeking satiety with the green-ray partner, sensing they may be helpful. The green-ray partner polarizes slightly toward service-to-others but has only the energy with which it began.
Commentary. There’s an ethical lesson here: love does not automatically mean you have infinite fuel. Service without wisdom can quietly deplete.
84.19 — “Don’t repeat covered material”
Summary. Don apologizes and asks Ra not to repeat.
Commentary. This becomes a teaching moment: Ra values answering each query to avoid baffling another kind of transfer.
84.20 — Lucifer/Devil depictions with erection: orange-ray?
Summary. Ra says many distortions exist in mythic forms, but answers yes and notes Don is perceptive.
Commentary. Interpreted carefully: Ra is not claiming a single meaning for all such images; they’re acknowledging a symbolic association between orange-ray blockage and certain cultural depictions.
84.21 — Green/blue/indigo/violet: what enables higher transfers?
Summary. Ra will answer queries even if repeated. The subject is large: it includes opening the gateway to intelligent infinity; some is necessarily shrouded to preserve free will. The great key to blue, indigo, and the “capital” (violet) is the metaphysical bond called unconditional love. Blue-ray: refined through honest communication and clarity, usually taking substantial time (though some pairs have strong prior refinement). Indigo: Ra cannot speak plainly; violet not at all.
Commentary. A simple ladder:
Green: unconditional love opened
Blue: unconditional love spoken truthfully
Indigo: unconditional love trusted (faith/will)
Violet: unconditional love becomes gateway
84.22 — Can you tell which ray occurred?
Summary. Only subjective measure. If love is made whole → green. If communication and “greater sight” increases → refined to blue. If will/faith are stimulated for a long duration → indigo. Violet is opening to intelligent infinity; indigo is also gateway, but veil not fully lifted.
Commentary. Ra invites you to evaluate by after-effects, not by theory.
84.23 — Logos intent: indiscriminate sex vs pairing?
Summary. Ra says this is the last full query. The prior creation’s harvest included male/female mind/body/spirit. Original Logoi intended mating in any fashion increasing polarization. Observation showed polarization increased manyfold if mating was not indiscriminate. Later Logoi preserved a bias toward mated relationship (more disciplined personalities; higher densities). Free will always paramount; only bias could be offered.
Commentary. This is a key “bias vs law” teaching: the Logos sets tendencies, not chains.
84.24 — Comfort / improve contact
Summary. Support group should be especially vigilant in the immediate future due to serious potential for increased distortion toward illness/health.
Commentary. Again: spiritual work is paired with practical vigilance.
🛠️ Practice Corner — Living Session 84
The fork practice (1 minute). When you want “future details,” pause: Am I collecting details of the day—or seeking the keys to unknowing? Choose intentionally.
Circuit check (journal). After a charged interaction (sexual or social), ask: where did flow baffle—red (safety), orange (self), yellow (roles/power), green (heart)?
Blue-ray refinement (one sentence). Practice one act of honest, kind clarity daily: “Here is what I feel; here is what I need; here is what I’m willing to give.”
Service-with-wisdom. If you are the “green-ray partner” in a dynamic, ask: “Do I have fuel for this? What boundary keeps love honest?”

🧠 Study Prompts
Where do you personally chase “transient” certainty—and what changes when you relax into unknowing?
What after-effects tell you a connection moved from green to blue (or hinted at indigo)?
Where do you confuse compassion with the absence of boundaries?
Note: This material reflects Ra’s metaphysical perspective and is offered for study—not as dogma. Use your discernment.
