🧭 Session Snapshot
Date: November 29, 1982
Core Themes:
Swirling waters + dizziness: martyrdom, overreaching, and the “space/time” discipline of rest intervals.
Mixed contact and quarantine: Ra won’t judge, can’t confirm “pure Confederation,” but notes there may be positive material.
Card Six (Transformation of Mind): the crossed arms as a transformation-triangle; the conscious mind chooses and can “rock” between poles; transformation demands abandoning a core principle of how we use the deep mind.
Card Seven (Great Way of Mind): the veil is lifted yet still present; Great Ways describe environment, not “final mastery.”
Positive has more “aid” (potentially): third density is skewed to support positive orientation more than negative.
Limited viewpoint and polarity: both paths depend on limitation; negative depends more heavily on illusory separation.
Releasing astrological strictures: crown of stars, sword/scepter—don’t over-literalize them as “the meaning.”
Sphinx/time: the chariot moves because mind ripens and transforms in time.
Closing emphasis: harmony and praise/thanksgiving are the greatest boon to the contact.
🌟 Key Takeaways
Overreaching can be spiritually efficient and physically costly. Ra praises the will-strengthening aspect of exceeding limits in service—then immediately asks the instrument to reconsider the value of martyrdom.
The “swirling waters” issue is mostly timing + duration. Ra gives specific recovery windows after aerobic exercise and walking—and says the dizziness was encouraged by greeting but caused largely by staying immersed too long.
On controversial contacts: Ra won’t rate them. They cannot confirm “pure Confederation,” but suggest there may be positive material, and remind that all communication is ultimately the One Creator in infinite distortions.
Transformation of Mind is not the unconscious yanking you around. The two female figures point—resting. The conscious mind holds both and turns itself. Without a key abandonment, it may simply rock back and forth and never transform.
Great Way ≠ “final stage.” Great Way = the milieu in which mind-work occurs. The veil is shown lifted and still present because lifting is progressive—and complete success is not properly third-density work.
Positive polarity has more help—as potential. The skew doesn’t force goodness; it simply means the environment offers more support to the positive orientation than to the negative.
Astrological props can mislead. Ra repeatedly suggests releasing certain symbols “from their stricture,” so you don’t confuse cultural overlay with core concept.
The chariot moves with time. The sphinxes are not “mastery badges.” Their deeper virtue is time: mind ripens, moves, and transforms in time.
🧩 Full Q&A with Commentary
100.1 — Condition of the instrument
Summary. As previously stated, except vital energy leans more toward strength/weakness than last time.
Commentary. A familiar opening: “mostly stable,” but with the telltale wobble in vital reserves that makes careful pacing crucial.
100.2–100.3 — Swirling waters dizziness: what’s going on?
Summary. Ra says: yes, there is an issue. The instrument tends to exceed limits. Metaphysically (time/space), this can be efficient catalyst: will is strengthened, and exceeding limits in service can intensify polarization. But in space/time, Ra asks the instrument to re-examine martyrdom. Ra suggests finding correlation between dizziness and other activity, and gives timing rules:
After aerobic exercise: wait no less than 3 hours, preferably 5, before swirling waters.
After walking: wait no less than 40 minutes, preferably twice that.
Ra adds: some greeting encouraged the dizziness, but the source is largely the instrument remaining immersed past what the physical limits allow.
Commentary. This is classic Ra nuance:
Time/space reading: “Your will is strong, and that can be efficient.”
Space/time reading: “Don’t pay for it with your body—martyrdom is not automatically virtue.”
Practical takeaway: spiritual intensity still needs recovery windows. It’s one of the rare places Ra gets very concrete with “how long to wait.”
100.4 — Billy Meier / Pleiades contact (Semjase): purpose, quarantine, distortion
Summary. Ra does not judge the value of a metaphysical contact. They cannot confirm it as a pure Confederation contact. They suggest there is some positive material in the recorded transcript, and note (without repeating prior material) that all communication is of the One Infinite Creator in infinite distortions.
Commentary. This is the “mixed contact” stance in a nutshell: avoid absolutism. Don’t canonize; don’t dismiss. Discriminate.
100.5 — May this information be shared with Colonel Stevens?
Summary. Yes—Ra considers it confirmation of already perceived ideas, so permission is freely given.
Commentary. A small but useful boundary-marker: confirmation of what’s already in awareness is less intrusive to free will.
🃏 Card Six — Transformation of Mind
100.6 — Don’s observation: crossed arms as “pull” toward left/right path
Summary. Ra reframes the “pull.” The conscious (male) and unconscious (female) dynamic is key: both the prostituted and virginal deep mind invite the reaching. In the image, each female points the way she would go, but neither moves; they are at rest, not striving. The conscious entity holds both and turns itself one way or the other—or may rock back and forth and never transform. For transformation to occur, one principle governing the use of the deep mind must be abandoned. Ra also highlights the triangle formed by shoulders/crossed elbows as a transformation-shape, echoed twice more in the image.
Commentary. The sharp correction: the unconscious isn’t “dragging” you into polarity. It offers—waits—invites. The conscious mind must choose, and must also stop one habitual way of using the deep mind.
A clean lived reading:
You can’t transform by oscillation.
At some point, a governing principle must be surrendered.
🛤️ Card Seven — Great Way of Mind
100.7 — The veil is lifted: does that mean perception of intelligent infinity is still distorted?
Summary. Ra suggests thinking of the Great Way as environment. Great Ways “limn the milieu” within which mind/body/spirit work is placed. The veil is shown somewhat lifted and still present because mind-work involves progressive lifting of the veil between conscious and deep mind. Complete success is not properly third-density work, especially not in third-density mental processes.
Commentary. This is a major calibration:
Great Way = the atmosphere you work in, not a trophy you win.
And veil-lifting is progressive; “total un-veiling” isn’t the job description of 3D mind.
100.8 — Veil higher on the right: does positive have more success penetrating the veil?
Summary. Yes—if understood as potential success. Third density is skewed so positive orientation has more aid than negative.
Commentary. “Aid” is not coercion. It’s more like an environmental tailwind: still requires effort, still respects choice.
100.9 — Is negative polarity more dependent on continued veiling and limited viewpoint?
Summary. Ra says there is a thread of logic. Both polarities depend on limited viewpoint. Negative depends more heavily on illusory separation between self and other-selves. Positive attempts to see through the illusion to the Creator in each, but is largely concerned with behaviors/thoughts directed toward service—still very much within third-density illusion.
Commentary. Two honest admissions at once:
Negative needs separation more intensely.
Positive still operates inside the illusion it tries to pierce (because service is enacted in the world of persons, needs, and behaviors).
100.10 — Crown of three stars = mastery of mind/body/spirit?
Summary. Ra says this device is astrological in origin, and that interpretation is somewhat confusing. Since the image deals with the environment of mind, it may be appropriate to release the starry crown from its stricture.
Commentary. In other words: don’t force “mind/body/spirit mastery” onto a symbol whose roots are astrological overlay. Keep the environment-of-mind frame clean.
100.11 — Sphinxes: do they mean catalyst mastered? Do they move the chariot?
Summary. Ra asks the student not to see the Great Way as “the culmination of seven functions,” but as a clearly delineated environment. Therefore, the sphinxes do not indicate mastery over catalyst. However, placing them as movers of the chariot has more virtue. Ra suggests connoting time to the sphinx: the mental and mental/emotional complex ripens and moves and is transformed in time.
Commentary. This is subtle and beautiful:
Not “I mastered catalyst, therefore I move.”
But “I ripen in time, therefore I move.”
100.12 — The 45-minute signal: should we end?
Summary. Ra says this has been covered previously. Termination time is the questioner’s choice until the instrument begins using vital resources due to lack of physical energy. The instrument remains open, as always.
Commentary. Another recurring theme: the questioner must steward the instrument. The contact is a responsibility, not a content faucet.
100.13 — Sword and scepter: are they in the wrong hands?
Summary. Ra says these symbols are astrological; the shapes may be released from their stricture. Ra adds: there is an overriding spiritual environment and protection for the environment of mind. The negatively polarized adept will attempt to fashion that covenant for its own use, whereas the positively polarized entity may hold forth what is exemplified by the astrological sword: light and truth.
Commentary. Even when releasing the “props,” Ra keeps the essence:
Negative: makes the covenant proprietary.
Positive: holds forth light/truth as gift.
100.14 — Are there more appropriate objects to hold than sword/scepter?
Summary. Ra leaves this to the student and will comment on observations next session.
Commentary. This is the apprenticeship model again: you do the seeing; Ra refines.
100.15 — Comfort and contact improvement
Summary. All is well; appurtenances conscientiously placed; Ra thanks the diligent group. There is much greater distortion toward harmony at this asking, and Ra joins in praise and thanksgiving—always the greatest boon to improvement, because group harmony supports the contact. Closing blessing.
Commentary. The ending lands exactly where it should: harmony is the amplifier; thanksgiving is the stabilizer.
🛠️ Practice Corner — Living Session 100
Swirling-waters discipline (2 minutes). Identify one place you “push past” your limits. Ask: “Is this service… or martyrdom?” Choose one small boundary that supports longevity.
Recovery windows (today). If you do intense activity, practice Ra’s basic principle: leave a real buffer before deep relaxation/immersion. Build “spaciousness” into your schedule.
Transformation vs rocking (5 minutes). Notice where you oscillate (“some days I’m generous, some days I’m controlling”) without changing. Ask: “What governing principle am I refusing to abandon?”
Great Way reframing (60 seconds). When you study archetypes, say: “This is the environment of mind-work, not a badge of mastery.” Then read your day through that lens.
Release the stricture (3 minutes). Identify one symbol/story you’ve over-literalized (“this means mastery,” “this proves I’m on X path”). Loosen it. Keep the function; drop the obsession.

🧠 Study Prompts
Where am I using spiritual effort to justify ignoring my body’s limits?
What does “abandoning a governing principle of deep mind use” mean for me—control, certainty, self-image, or fear of surrender?
If the Great Way is an environment, what is the “weather” of my mind right now—and what practices best match that weather?
When I think “negative depends on separation,” where do I subtly rehearse separation (even while claiming love)?
Note: This material reflects Ra’s metaphysical perspective and is offered for study—not as dogma. Use your discernment.
